Allen hopes to 'fade into oblivion'

Lily Allen – who recently said she was giving up her music career to focus on a new fashion venture – says she hopes her future will see her being less and less involved in public life.

The 25-year-old singer said: “I hope in a year’s time I’m not gonna be asked to awards and I won’t be nominated because I haven’t put anything out there. And hopefully I can fade into oblivion.”
