Lindsay Lohan is reportedly being lined up to appear as a judge on the next series of 'American Idol'.

The actress - who appeared in court on Monday in connection with drink driving charges - is just one star on a list drawn up by show bosses in a bid to maintain the popularity of the talent contest once Simon Cowell leaves.
