Walsh signs new €1.6m 'X Factor' contract

Louis Walsh has signed a new ‘X Factor’ contract worth £1.6m.

The Irish pop manager is thrilled with the deal – worth more than double the £700,000 he was paid to judge the show in 2008 – after close pal Simon Cowell pledged to reward him for his work on the programme.
