Burton: I was more scared of real life than scary movies

Tim Burton has claimed that watching scary movies never affected him because he was so frightened by everyday occurrences.

The 'Alice in Wonderland' director said: "I never really got nightmares from movies. I was much more terrified by my own family and real life, you know?
