The ‘Fight For This Love’ Cheryl Cole singer – who has been rocked by claims her soccer star husband Ashley Cole had an affair and was sending explicit text messages to other women – wore sunglasses and appeared deep in thought as she prepared to leave London’s Heathrow Airport to continue with her scheduled week-long writing and recording trip to Los Angeles.

A spokesperson for the singer told the Mail Online website: “Cheryl is going to America for writing and recording sessions. This is a session that was scheduled last month. She is away for a week. We have no further comment to make.”
