Dench worried about death
Dame Judi Dench is worried about dying.
The 75-year-old actress, who stars in new musical movie āNineā, admits her mortality is always on her mind now she is older.
She said: āI think about dying all the time but I push it to the back of my mind. Why? Because of fear of course.ā
The āCasino Royaleā star admits she āloathesā the ageing process but accepts it is just a part of life.
She added in an interview with The Times newspaper: āI donāt like it at all. Suddenly I get up out of a chair and canāt rush across the room. But thereās nothing I can do about it.
āMy energy levels are OK but I canāt see very well. People have to look up and wave at me. If a restaurant is too dark I can end up talking to the back of chairs.ā
Judiās husband Michael Williams passed away nine years ago and the actress admits she has never fully got over his death.
She said: āI donāt expect you ever get over something like that. Time changes everything I suppose but I miss the basic things.
āFinding love with someone else is not something that ever happened. But Iāve loved living in the same house, in the same grounds with my family.ā
