Louis and Dannii patch things up

Dannii Minogue almost quit ‘The X Factor’ after furious arguments with Louis Walsh.

The 37-year-old singer was left feeling low after a series of rows with the Irish manager and told bosses she would only continue if the atmosphere improved.

She said: “I made it very clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn’t want to go there. I’m not made of steel.”

In one incident, Walsh famously made Minogue cry on live TV last year after he accused her of stealing a song he had picked to be performed by one of his acts on the singing talent show.

Minogue added: “It got heated on and off set. There are only so many times I can be pushed around. It was absolutely horrible. I would never want to go through that again or see anyone else go through it.”

Minogue has revealed Walsh – who is a judge on the show alongside Dannii, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell – also felt bad about their spats, and apologised to her when they began filming the new series of the show earlier this year.

Minogue explained: “We’ve cleared the deck. Louis was very sweet on the first day of work this year. He said, ‘I’m so sorry – please don’t let me do that again.’

“It’s nice now to see the side of him everyone else knows.”
