Angelina Jolie has assured animal activists the fur her spy character wears in new movie 'Salt' is not for real.

The actress was photographed wearing what looked like a full-length chinchilla poncho and matching Russian style winter fur hat on the set of the movie, but her representatives have already contacted officials at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to reveal the star's wardrobe is fur free.
