GaGa credit crunched

Lady GaGa is the latest celebrity to be hit by the global financial crisis - she's been forced to tone down her stage antics in the UK as she can't afford to ship equipment from the US.

The singer has taken the music industry by storm, with her debut single 'Just Dance' reaching number one in the US and UK charts.

She is currently supporting the Pussycat Dolls on their 'World Domination' tour and has announced plans for a headlining jaunt across North America this summer.

But GaGa admits her UK fans have yet to see the best of her - as she has been unable to bring all her stage props with her as a result of the worldwide credit crunch.

She said: "I adore being in the UK but the shows that I've done so far, with Pussycat Dolls and on my own, are nothing to what you will see from me. The dollar is so bad I haven't been able to take over all my equipment and do a full set - but I will."
