Irish comedian O’Carroll may run in election

Comedian Brendan O’Carroll has indicated he may run in the next General Election.

The Dubliner, who opens his new show in Cork tonight, said the prospect of a Labour Taoiseach had prompted him to consider running on the party ticket in the next election in 2012.
