McAvoy slams fame-hungry stars

James McAvoy is disgusted when he sees fellow thespians spread over the pages of glossy magazines, insisting stars who court fame are "not actors to me".

The actor refuses to become a regular fixture on the Hollywood party circuit because he fears the public will become more interested his personal life than his acting ability.
