U2 are set to make around $25m (€17m ) if they go ahead with reported plans to sell their shares in US music events company Live Nation.

The 'One' hitmakers signed a 12-year deal with the company in March which will see Live Nation handle the band's concerts, online fanclubs and t-shirt sales.
