Samuel L. Jackson refuses to seek counselling for his ongoing struggle with drink and drugs - because the therapy groups near his home in Los Angeles are "just too weird".

The actor battled an addiction to booze and illegal substances before a stint in rehab in 1990 forced him to get clean.
