Craig's mother feared failure

Daniel Craig's mother feared her son would end up as a failed actor when he quit school to pursue a career as a thespian.

The 'James Bond' star walked away from his education 16, missing out on the chance to go to university - much to the disappointment of his mother, Carol, who wanted him to gain some qualifications.
