Bryan Adams is to play a free peace concert in war-ravaged Georgia in the hope his actions will prompt Russian leaders to end over 40 days of conflict with the East European republic.

The Canadian will perform his hits as part of the 'Peace, Freedom and Democracy for Georgia' concert in Rikhe Square in Tbilsi on Friday.
