Parker laments New York's decline

Sarah Jessica Parker is sad to see New York lose its individuality - insisting many areas have been stripped of their everyday charm and replaced by swanky bars and restaurants.

The actress - who first moved to the city in 1976 - is convinced that so many people are desperate to see the city as a glamorous and fashionable place, all the features that made New York unique are being lost.
