A delightful homage to slasher films

David Arquette’s The Tripper (Momentum, €21.99) is a delightful homage to ‘70s and ‘80s exploitation and slasher films.

While the Scream trilogy has its fans, this is a pretty decent effort and worth a look. The plot features a bunch of drugged hippies, local nasties, cops and a weird serial killer who has a fondness for Ronald Reagan, complete with mask and a dog named Nancy.
