'Lark Rise to Candleford' (BBC, €54.99) is a delightful period drama bristling with fun and no little charm.

Set in 1880s Oxford, it looks at the hopes, loves and disappointments of young Laura (Olivia Hallinan), who leaves Lark Rise to begin a new life in the more worldly Candleford.
