Morrison attacks music mags for 'obsession with past'

Singer/songwriter Van Morrison has launched a scathing attack on music magazines, accusing them of holding the industry back by focusing on the past.

The Grammy-nominated musician, 62, admits he has become disillusioned with the current state of the industry, because publications like Mojo and Q are simply "propaganda".
