Spears' mother steps in to save her daughter

Britney Spears' mother Lynne has vowed to "protect" her troubled daughter after the pair reconciled their year-long feud.

The pair fell out last year but have recently attempted to revive their relationship - with Lynne arriving in Los Angeles on Monday to comfort the troubled star.
