Winehouse cancels tour

Amy Winehouse has cancelled the rest of her 2007 tour, including upcoming sell-out shows in Dublin and Belfast.

The British singer has been widely criticised in recent days for a string of poor performances.

Her record company says the decision to cancel the tour was made for health reasons.

In a statement, the singer herself says she is unable to perform while her husband is in prison charged with grievous bodily harm attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Irish fans are being offered a full refund on their tickets.
