Gervais refuses to work with Allen

British comedian Ricky Gervais turned down the chance to work with celebrated director Woody Allen - because he is convinced the filmmaker has lost his ability to produce good movies.

The creator of the UK's hit TV comedy 'The Office' was offered a part in one of Allen's recent productions, but Gervais pulled out when he saw who else the director had in mind for the film.
