Harry Potter most lucrative film franchise of all time

Harry Potter is shaping up to be the most lucrative movie franchise of all time - eclipsing the profits from Star Wars and all 22 James Bond films combined.

The boy wizard franchise is forecast to make $10bn (€7bn) when all seven instalments have made it to the big screen, through box-office takings and DVD sales.
