Carrey urges UN to ban arms to Burma

Actor Jim Carrey urged the UN Security Council to ban all international arms shipments to Myanmar in a bid to end the suppression of pro-democracy protestors.

The comic actor urged the Council to take action on Friday after Burmese security forces raided monasteries, imposed curfews and killed 10 when up to 100,000 people protested against the regime.
