O'Connor implores tabloids to leave Spears alone

Sinead O'Connor has jumped to the defence of Britney Spears, insisting the troubled star is being victimised by the American media.

O'Connor believes Spears would stand a better chance at recovering from her problems, which include a child custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, if the paparazzi and media left her alone.
