The Painted Veil looks at China in the 20's

ADAPTED from a W Somerset Maugham novel, The Painted Veil (Momentum, 24.99) is sumptuous to look at, with most of the action taking place in China in the ‘20s, and also has romance and betrayal, revenge and redemption.

Edward Norton plays Dr Walter Fane, a specialist in infectious diseases who marries the delightful Kitty (Naomi Watts), only for her to embark on an affair.
