The Simple Life axed?

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are out of a job after news their hit reality show The Simple Life has been axed.

The wealthy socialites proved a huge hit trying their hand at manual labour on the programme - which spawned five series - but The Insider reports network E! has dropped the show from next year's line-up.
