Lindsay Lohan's estranged father has confessed he records the phone conversations he has with his kids - so his words cannot be used against him in court.

Michael Lohan is current embroiled in a bitter divorce and custody battle with his estranged wife Dina, and he fears his kids are being used as pawns in the fight.
