Bald Nicholson 'bringing sexy back'

It’s not often that a man provides one of the most talked-about fashion statements on Oscar night, but Jack Nicholson’s newly-shaved head certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Loitering backstage to congratulate Martin Scorsese on his Best Director and Best Picture wins, The Departed star was almost unrecognisable underneath his bald head and trademark sunglasses, prompting Reese Witherspoon to exclaim: “I like your hairdo.

"You’re bringing sexy back.”

Jack wasn’t trying to be the next Justin Timberlake, or even show his support for fellow baldie Britney Spears.

The real reason behind Jack’s bald head is his latest film project, The Bucket List.
