Michael plays free concert for nurses

Pop superstar George Michael performed a special concert yesterday to pay tribute to the British nurses who cared for his late mother during the last weeks of her life.

The Faith singer's mum Lesley Panos died of cancer almost a decade ago and Michael swore he would put on a free show to thank the nurses who eased her pain if he ever toured again.
