De Niro dreams of total control

Movie icon Robert De Niro will hang up his directing hat after finally realising his dream of making a movie he's written.

The actor is credited with directing two films, A Bronx Tale and The Good Shepherd, and hopes to take charge of another three projects, including a sequel to The Good Shepherd.
