West steps back from music

Hip-hop star Kanye West has pledged to step back from music for at least a year because he fears his fans are getting bored of him.

The Gold Digger star has decided his regular contributions to other artists' songs are weakening his brand name and will wait until next year before he ventures back into the charts with a new album.
