Richie denies gastric surgery

Nicole Richie has slammed reports she had a gastric band fitted but had to have it removed after losing too much weight.

Earlier this week, the New York Post published a story claiming an unnamed "Hollywood starlet" underwent gastric surgery and then had the procedure removed, and subsequent reports have identified The Simple Life star as the person in question.
