Alias beauty Jennifer Garner insists she slimmed down after childbirth by breastfeeding, because she had no intention of abandoning her daughter to hit the gym.

Garner, who is married to Hollywood heart-throb Ben Affleck, gave birth to Violet in December last year and refused to put her child at risk by exhausting her body with an intense exercise regime.
