Glitter denied parole hearing

Disgraced British rocker Gary Glitter has had his Christmas hopes dashed after a parole hearing was denied until next year.

Glitter, who was found guilty in a Vietnamese court of sexually assaulting two local young girls aged 10 and 11 in March, has served only seven months of his three year sentence.
