Crowe blasts press lies

Russell Crowe has accused the media of exaggerating his violent reputation for dramatic effect.

The actor is open about the mistakes he has made - including an incident last year when he threw a telephone at a hotel employee in New York City but he is frustrated about reports he read that are untrue.
