Burton 'devastated' by halt in filming

Quirky movie maker Tim Burton was devastated when filming for Ripley's Believe it or Not ground to a halt earlier this year, but he refuses to blame star Jim Carrey.

Edward Scissorhands director Burton had been working on the film for almost a year when production was cancelled, reportedly because Carrey demanded script changes that would have sent the movie's budget rocketing out of control.
