Jackman thrilled by heart-stopping letter

Hugh Jackman felt sure he had been served a summons as he read a letter from an elderly fan who had been taken seriously ill after he carried her to her seat at a show.

The actor was starring in stage musical The Boy From Oz in a stadium in his native Australia recently when he chose to escort an enthusiastic fan and her grandmother from the back row to the front during the show.
