The Departed is another gem from Scorsese

Leo and Martin get together again for a strong and dramatic tale based on a hit Hong Kong film of rivalry – between the cops and an Irish-American gang – and role reversal.

One gangster is sent to infiltrate the police and a young cop sneaked into the gang … when paths cross fireworks are lit.

The developing plot concerns growing friendship, betrayal and the obsession with the dangerous double-life of the two.

And, of course, it’s all handled with style and substance by Scorsese who truly understands his characters.

Another gem from a master movie-maker.
