Damon involved in police crack raid

Hollywood actor Matt Damon helped Boston police carry out a raid on a crack den as part of research for his role in new Martin Scorsese film, The Departed.

In the new movie, Damon plays a mobster who infiltrates the police force as an informer for his crime syndicate.
