Pete Doherty's ongoing drug problems are putting a strain on his parents' marriage - his mother Jackie refuses to switch off her mobile phone at night in case she receives a call from the troubled British rocker.

The strain of being the mother of the Babyshambles frontman has led Jackie and her husband, also called Peter, to sleep in separate rooms.
