Osbourne turns down Fame Academy offer

Sharon Osbourne turned down a lucrative $5.4m (€4.3m) offer to be a judge on American talent show Fame Academy, so she can spend more time in Britain with her family.

The 53-year-old millionaire, who appears as a judge alongside Simon Cowell on rival British show The X Factor, is adamant her rock star husband and three children mean more to her than money.
