Newspaper apologises to Stone

British newspaper the Daily Mail has apologised to Sharon Stone after claiming she left her four-year-old son in car while she dined in a London restaurant.

Stone was furious by the claims last June and this week accepted an undisclosed settlement from the newspaper.
