Streep defends Lohan

Actress Meryl Streep has lashed out at media reports her Prairie Home Companion co-star Lindsay Lohan's hard-partying ways interfere with her acting.

Despite the stories about her in tabloids, Streep was convinced Lohan would be perfect to play her daughter in the film, even before meeting her.
