Chan injured on set

Kung fu star Jackie Chan was admitted to hospital on Thursday when a stunt went awry on the set of his latest film.

A stuntman was wearing the incorrect shoes when he kicked the Rush Hour actor in the chest, during filming for the action comedy Rob-B-Hood in Hong Kong.

After receiving a check-up from doctors, Chan admits he felt sore for a few days afterwards.

He says: "These things just happen. I always put safety first when filming, but still, sometimes things just go wrong. It was just an ordinary accident.

"The stuntman working with me had on the wrong shoes and I got hurt."
