Richie in trouble over comment to child

Simple Life star Nicole Richie has upset a Los Angeles family after asking their 11-year-old son if he thought she was attractive. Only she said it in a more, er, rude fashion.

The show’s cameras caught her using a rude word and unsurprisingly, the boy’s parents are a little peeved.

The 24-year-old was filming the new series of her reality show, which has caused some controversy thanks to the fact that its two stars (Paris Hilton is also involved) are not actually on speaking terms.

What’s more, the show was booted from its original network’s schedules, but was picked up by entertainment channel E!

Richie is refusing to comment on her gaffe, but the scene won’t feature in the show, since the family refused to sign a release form.
