Church sings smoking ban praises

Singer Charlotte Church has praised the British government's ban on smoking in pubs, clubs and restaurants in England.

The 20-year-old star made it her New Year's resolution to quit cigarettes, and is delighted she won't face temptation once the ban comes into effect in mid-2007.
