West eyes director role

Ambitious rapper Kanye West is refusing to rush into accepting a role in a Hollywood movie, because he'd rather direct a film than act in one.

The Gold Digger star admits he is currently inundated with acting offers, but feels his production background makes him better suited to behind-the-scenes work.
