Anderson concerned by lack of demand

The X-Files actress Gillian Anderson is having trouble securing new acting roles - because her most recent work has been conducted away from the Hollywood limelight.

Despite being praised for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock in the recent BBC TV adaptation of Charles Dickens classic Bleak House, Anderson was left disappointed when her agent failed to find her new roles at Monday's Golden Globe Awards.
