Brosnan bonded with Craig before 007 announcement

Pierce Brosnan offered his James Bond successor Daniel Craig words of encouragement in the days leading up to Craig's appointment in October.

Despite his bitterness at being dropped as the superspy, Brosnan enjoyed bonding with Craig over a few drinks and gave the 37-year-old advice on how to play 007 in forthcoming Bond movie Casino Royale.
